Encantada is a 37 ft. Seahunter Tournament Center Console that is the newest addition to Scorpion Sportfishing and the first of its kind in the East Cape sportfishing scene . Built with an emphasis on fishing and the fishing experience, Encantada is equipped with Raymarine electronics, 4 on board live wells for amble bait storage, teaser reels, down riggers, tuna tubes and Fusion\Wet Sound stereo system. Encantada has the ability the get you the fish quickly with brand new Triple 300 hp Suzuki outboards. Its long length and wide beam provide a smooth ride no matter the sea conditions. With 360 degree fishability, anglers will find plenty of space to fish comfortably aboard and the ability to chase down the biggest of fish.

Featuring the same high quality equipment as the other members of the Scorpion Sportfishing fleet, Encantada is fully equipped to provide anglers with the ability to fish a variety of techniques throughout the day. Whether trolling for marlin using teasers and dredges or using the dowriggers to get that tough bite, Encantada can do it all. And, when you get that bite, you can be sure that you can rely on our Shimano reels, Owner hooks and Yozuri leaders to put that fish in the box!

High end tackle:  Accurate, Shimano, Penn Reels. Calstar and Seeker Rods. 100% Fluorocarbon Leaders with ultra-low visibility and superior strength.  Owner and Gamakatsu Hooks.

Full Day Rate $1500 Half Day Rate $800

A standard charter includes light snacks (granola bars, fruit, and bottled water).  Rates do not include 16% IVA tax, bait (about $20.00 USD.), Mexican fishing license, additional food/beverages or gratuities for the captain or guide.   For custom charters, there's a queen sized cabin for over night trips and a cabin with bunks. Fly fishing focused charters are available (to be accompanied by a US fly fishing guide aboard ENCANTADA add $150.00 USD).

After 5 years of experience fishing together aboard the Scorpion on the East Cape and in Los Cabos, Captain Oscar Verdugo and Matthew Clifton will crew the Encantada. Captain Oscar has a lifetime of experience fishing on the East Cape having grown up fishing with his grandfather and father aboard their sportfishing boats. In addition to having a wealth of knowledge regarding fishing techniques and areas, Captain Oscar is always ready to have a great time and make your day fun as well as productive. Having fished together for many years, Captain Oscar Verdugo and Matthew Clifton provide a seamless experience for their customers.
